College Baseball Tryouts

The Complete Showcase will host 6 college baseball tryouts this fall and winter. Each showcase averages 20 college coaches in attendance and the cost is less than $10 per coach. Last year we hosted 19 showcases with over 1,100 players in attendance. These showcases are intended for high school and college aged players. The day’s workout will include a pro-style tryout to evaluate all participants.

Showcase Dates:
November 19th – (30 College Coaches) - University of Dallas- $200+
November 20th - (23 College Coaches) - The Woodlands Christian Academy- $175+
December 17th - (24 College Coaches) - University of Dallas- $175+
December 18th - (19 College Coaches) - The Woodlands Christian Academy- $150+
January 7th - (18 College Coaches) - University of Dallas- $150+
January 8th - (12 College Coaches) - A&M Consolidated High School- $125+

Evaluations:
All players will have a five minute sit down with a college coach to discuss their individual performance of the day. A hand written evaluation will also be given to each player.

New England Catching Camp Clinic in Houston, TX Dec. 10-11

Nationally known catching program, The New England Catching Camp, is pleased to partner with the TYB Lions' organization of Spring, TX (Houston area) to conduct 2 days of catching clinics Dec 10-11, 2011.

NECC director Jay Weaver and NECC staff will conduct catching clinics on Saturday, Dec. 10 and Sunday, Dec. 11th for both baseball and fastpitch softball, ages 8-18. The clinics will consist of instruction on all aspects of catching skills including receiving, blocking, throwing and fielding skills.

Cost of the 2.5 hour clinic is $75.

Frozen Summer Camp Schedule is out!!

We offer general camps, girls fastpitch camps, advanced hitting, catcher camps and middle infield camps.

We also offer First year Kid pitch instructional league. A camp designed to teach the team aspects of the game to players. For example, relays, rundowns, 1st and 3rd defense, etc.

Coach Pitch instructional League and T-Ball Istructional League are available as well. Focusing on where to go when ball is hit, where to throw to with one out, two outs etc.

University of Arkansas Fastpitch Hitting Camp

The Camp will feature instruction from the University of Arkansas Head Coach, Mike Larabee. He will provide hands-on training in hitting for experienced athletes. Use of OnLineSkillsCoach high speed video equipment and review will help athletes improve their performance through expert motion analysis. The major emphasis is to prepare athletes for advanced level of competition.

Catchers Camp

This is the complete catchers camp!

Camp will cover:

Athletic set-up and stances, receiving, framing, working the horseshoe and blocking.

Proper arm action and throwing to all bases. Snap throws to all bases from knees. Blocking and recovering to throw, as well as footwork and pitchouts.

Pop ups, wild pitches, bunt coverage, backing up first and plays at the plate.

Reading and setting up hitters, calling pitches effectively, managing pitchers and learning to become the "field general"

Pro Batter pitching simulators will be used for vision training and pitch recognition improvement.

Computer video analysis will be used to improve the players mechanical efficiency on all aspects of the position.
